Kabasaran

Kabasaran is a geometric display font inspired by the traditional war dance and ceremonial clothing of the Minahasa people of Indonesia. Built on a strict square grid with monoweight strokes, its most striking feature is the small inward-curling spirals at stroke terminals and corners, drawn directly from traditional decorative motifs. The result is something between architectural type and cultural artifact.
