LDR Bracciolini
by Luigi Della Rosa
LDR Bracciolini is a humanist serif drawn from the handwriting of Poggio Bracciolini, the 15th-century Italian scribe whose reformed script became the model for early Roman typefaces. The high stroke contrast and pen-influenced bracketed serifs give it a warmth that purely constructed revivals often lose. It carries the authority of the Renaissance page without feeling like a museum piece.
