Marvelan is a heavy condensed serif with a bold, vintage character drawn from wood-type and Americana printing traditions. The sturdy bracketed serifs and near-monoweight strokes pack a lot of visual punch in a tight horizontal space. It works best at large sizes where its rugged texture and confident weight can dominate a layout.
