Midwatches is a high-contrast modern serif with dramatic hairline strokes and thick stems drawn from the Didone tradition. Ball terminals and wide, open proportions give it a distinctly elegant, editorial character that sits somewhere between 19th-century refinement and contemporary fashion typography. It works best at large display sizes where the contrast between thick and thin is fully legible.
