National First is a dotted handwriting-guide font from 1994, designed to help children learn letter formation in classroom worksheets. Each character is built from evenly spaced dots that trace the stroke path, giving the typeface a light, open texture that children can trace over or fill in. The design is practical first, but its airy dotted construction also gives it genuine charm as a novelty display face.
