New Job is a 1997 experimental display font by Matthew Welch, built by systematically distorting Latin letters until they barely resemble their source. Rounded parts become angular, angles become rounded, forms are mirrored and split, creating an alphabet that reads as alien or encrypted. Welch himself notes it is not very readable, which is entirely the point.
