Newhork

by Lucas Kuster

Newhork is a geometric display typeface rooted in the angular forms of the Younger Futhark, the runic alphabet used by Viking-Age Scandinavians. Every character is built from strict straight lines and diagonals, with parallel inline strokes that give it a dense, almost architectural weight. It sits at a compelling intersection of ancient heritage and contemporary graphic design.
