Nocturne is a heavy decorative display font built around wave-like distortion and flame-edged strokes that give every character an unsettled, almost living quality. Loosely rooted in blackletter structure, the design pushes far into organic territory with serrated, dripping terminals that evoke horror and occultism. Best used large, for short titles, posters, and album artwork where maximum atmosphere is the goal.
