Novella is a bold retro display font built around a dramatic horizontal-stripe inline treatment that mimics the look of chrome or brushed-metal lettering. The thick, blocky characters have softly rounded corners and a layered depth that recalls 1970s and 80s sci-fi title cards and action-movie posters. It commands attention at large sizes and carries a strong cinematic, almost theatrical energy.
