Outreque is a humanist sans-serif built on the natural curves of handwriting, designed from the start to feel a little unusual. The heavy weight shown here is broad and rounded, with soft terminals that keep the boldness from feeling harsh. Its name comes from "outré" and the design earns it: familiar enough to read easily, just idiosyncratic enough to be remembered.
