Pungen is a bold display sans built around deliberate distortion, with holes and ink-trap-like cutouts punched into otherwise straightforward characters. The effect sits somewhere between a grunge experiment and a printed artifact gone wrong, giving text a raw, handmade energy. It works best at large sizes where the individual character disruptions are clearly readable.
