Quentell CF

by Chuck's Fonts

Quentell CF is a bold revival of William P. Quentell's 1895 advertising typeface, originally cut for the American Type Founders Co. and ancestor to both Taylor Gothic and Globe Gothic. The dramatic thick-thin stroke contrast bridges formal modern-serif tradition and Art Deco showmanship, making it equally at home on vintage-inspired posters and contemporary brand work. The author recommends against continuous text use; this is a typeface built for big, dark, declarative settings.
