Redland is a high-contrast Didone serif with extreme thick-thin stroke variation and wide, commanding proportions. The dramatic contrast between its heavy stems and near-invisible hairline serifs gives it a distinctly luxurious, editorial character reminiscent of Didot and Bodoni at their boldest. It works best large, where the tension between weights can fully breathe.
