Released is a heavy modular display font built on a strict geometric grid with chamfered corner cuts that give it a retro-futuristic edge. Created by Ivan Philipov in 2009, it was inspired by the Roger Sanchez 'Release Yourself' compilation series, and that electronic music DNA is written into every thick stroke. Best used large, where its blocky density reads as confident and punchy.
