Retro Thing is a bold bitmap font built on a square pixel grid, evoking the chunky character of early home computer screens and arcade cabinets. Its unconventional mixing of letter heights and deliberately rough construction give it a hand-made, lo-fi personality that stands apart from more polished pixel typefaces. It works best at large sizes where the pixel structure reads as a deliberate stylistic choice.
