Rise is a heavy stencil slab-serif with thick, squared stems interrupted by cutout breaks that divide each character into segmented blocks. The construction draws on military stenciling and Americana traditions, giving it a rugged, commanding presence. Works best at large sizes where the stencil detail reads clearly.
