Rotunda Pommerania is a heavy blackletter face by Peter Wiegel rooted in the Rotunda style, a softer, rounder cousin of the sharp-angled Textura scripts common in northern Europe. The letterforms carry the dense, ornate weight of medieval German manuscript traditions while staying more legible than many strict gothic revivals. Best used as a display face for historical projects, certificates, or anywhere that calls for authentic medieval atmosphere at large sizes.
