Roughwork is a classical Roman serif overlaid with visible construction geometry, exposing the circles and guidelines that typographers use to design letterforms. The effect is somewhere between a finished typeface and a type specimen from a design manual. It works best at large sizes where the scaffolding detail can breathe.
