Satanick

by William Morris

Satanick is a blackletter revival based on William Morris's Troy and Chaucer typefaces, digitized from original printed specimens. Morris designed those types in the 1890s for his Kelmscott Press, drawing on the dense, angular gothic book hands of medieval manuscripts. The result is a heavy, high-contrast gothic with the gravitas of a hand-printed incunabulum.
