Schnoerkel Caps is an elaborate initials font from Manfred Klein, with each capital letter wrapped in dense, baroque-style flourishes and ornamental swirls. The level of detail is excessive in the best way, recalling the engraved decorative capitals found in 18th- and 19th-century printed books. Strictly a display face for drop caps, monograms, and decorative headings where the intricacy has room to breathe at large sizes.
