Smithy XT is a distressed typewriter face from Pella with rough, ink-starved letterforms that look like they came off a ribbon running on its last pass. The monospace structure keeps things grounded in that classic typewritten rhythm, while the grungy, uneven edges push it firmly into vintage territory. Works well for headlines, album art, and editorial layouts where you want something that feels physically typed rather than digitally set.
