Soerjaputera is a thin, condensed display face by Adien Gunarta that draws heavily from Art Deco lettering traditions, with geometric uppercase letterforms and elegant, streamlined proportions. The delicate stroke weight and vintage ornamentation give it the feel of 1920s and '30s poster typography, right at home on hotel signage, cocktail menus, and editorial headers. It needs room to breathe at larger sizes where its fine details and decorative geometry can really come through.
