Tfu Tfu is a blackletter face from Israeli designer Meir Sadan that takes the dense, vertical architecture of traditional Textura and roughens it up considerably, adding visible distress and grit to the gothic letterforms. The result feels less like a medieval manuscript and more like something scraped off a crumbling wall or a punk gig flyer. Best kept to headlines and short display text where its dark, weathered personality can do the heavy lifting.
