The Slug and Lion

The Slug and Lion is a heavy, wide grotesque sans-serif with an all-over distressed texture that mimics worn ink or aged letterpress printing. The underlying structure is solid and blocky, with the kind of sturdy proportions you'd find on mid-century signage or pub facades. That tension between structural confidence and surface decay gives it a lot of character at large sizes.
