Toskanische Egyptienne Initialen is an ornamental slab-serif initials font by Dieter Steffmann, inspired by the heavily decorated Tuscan Egyptian letterforms popular in 19th-century poster printing. Each uppercase character carries deep shadow effects and engraved detailing that give it the look of woodblock type from a Wild West broadside or vintage circus bill. Strictly a display face for drop caps, titles, and decorative headers where the elaborate craftsmanship can really show off at large sizes.
