Valen is a bold horror display font with heavily distorted characters that combine blackletter angularity with sharp, blade-like descending spikes. The extreme stroke contrast and warped organic shapes give it a visceral, menacing quality that reads equally as gothic, occult, or heavy metal. It demands large sizes and strong contrast to land its full visual punch.
