Bonbon Bleu is a blackletter display face from Holyrose that takes the dense, vertical rhythm of traditional textura and roughens it up with visible distressing across every letterform. The result feels less like a pristine medieval manuscript and more like something weathered into stone or peeling off an old chapel wall. Best kept to headlines and short runs of decorative text where the gothic atmosphere and gritty texture can do their work.
