Early Gothic is a textura blackletter by Jack Kilmon that reflects the dense, angular calligraphic style found in medieval European manuscripts. The letterforms are ornate and tightly spaced, with the heavy vertical strokes and diamond-shaped serifs characteristic of Gothic book hands. Best reserved for headlines, drop caps, and historical design work where its dramatic weight and period authenticity can come through at larger sizes.
