JSL Blackletter is a heavy blackletter face by Jeffrey S. Lee that faithfully captures the dense, vertical rhythm of traditional Textura script. The letterforms are bold and tightly spaced, with the angular, broken strokes and diamond-shaped serifs you'd expect from medieval manuscript lettering. It works best for headlines, drop caps, certificates, and anywhere you want that unmistakable Gothic weight and formality.
