Metrique is a typewriter-style slab serif drawn with the feel of rotring pen and India ink, with wobbly strokes and blotted terminals that make it look hand-pressed rather than typeset. The irregularity is the point: every character carries small imperfections that give layouts a handmade, authentic texture. Works best at headline sizes where the ink-drawn quality can breathe.
