Recky is a heavy condensed grotesque with thick, blunt strokes and subtly rounded interior corners that keep it from feeling harsh. The extreme weight and tight spacing generate a lot of visual pressure, making it effective for posters, logos, and headlines that need to command attention. There is something in its construction that reads both industrial and approachable.
