Strelsau
by Paul Lloyd · Website
Strelsau is an ornate blackletter display face by Paul Lloyd, rooted in the Textura tradition but pushed toward something more elaborate, with engraved detailing and dense decorative strokes that give it real visual richness. The letterforms feel distinctly medieval yet refined, closer to an illuminated manuscript than rough woodcut type. Best reserved for headlines, titles, and drop caps where the intricate craftsmanship has room to show.
