Takeup is a heavy condensed grotesque sans with extreme vertical compression and a commanding black weight. Its tight proportions and bold stroke pack a lot of typographic force into a narrow column, making it a natural choice for impactful headlines and poster work. The slightly rounded terminals keep it from feeling too rigid.
