Faber Serif is a restrained old-style roman grown from the proportions of its sibling, Faber Sans. The serifs are heavy in character but strikingly short, and the low stroke contrast ties the design to the earliest Roman typefaces of the 15th century. The result is something unusually calm: a serif that reads as contemporary without abandoning its humanist roots.
