Offenbacher Schwabacher CAT
by Peter Wiegel · Website
Offenbacher Schwabacher CAT is a revival of the Schwabacher style, the dominant blackletter form in German printing before Fraktur took over in the 16th century. Its bold weight, diamond terminals, and sharply angled strokes give it real typographic authority without the spindlier fragility of Textura. The result reads as distinctly historical but confident enough for modern poster and branding work.
